Jan 2022 Update

We now paid both nominated charities their £2500 cheques. Both charities were very grateful for our donation where by being a small charity the money will be put to great use. Attached are two photographs where we presented the cheques.

Motiv8

Motiv8 is a local charity that has been operating in the Portsmouth, Havant, Gosport and Fareham area for the past 20 years. Motiv8 recognise that there are many factors which can place young people and their families at increased risk of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour, crime or becoming a victim of crime. We take a person-centred approach, building on strengths and providing positive ‘life chances’ to help them thrive.

Gosport and District Sports Association for Disabled (GADSAD)

GADSAD is run by a small band of dedicated volunteers. We currently have some forty members and new members are always welcome. The aim of GADSAD is to provide social and sporting activities to the disabled in the local community. Some of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity to do so, also to help enhance mobility, co-ordination and self-confidence.

Giving our members the opportunity to socialise with other people in similar situations and participate in sporting events throughout the South of England. The members have won many trophies over the years in a wide variety of sporting activities.
