Fishing is along both banks from Pitymoor Lane Bridge to the Southwick Park wall, although there is a no fishing area adjacent to the farm buildings between points A and B on the map. Access to the North bank is through the yard via the track and gate then over the bridge.
Please ensure all electric fences are hooked back in place after passing through. Access to the South Western field is over the fence by the road bend and to the South Eastern field is over the metal gate. Maximum of 4 anglers allowed on site at any one time. Park on the concrete plinth just inside the farm entrance, not in Pitymoor Lane lay-bys. Stock consists of Chub, Roach, Perch, Dace and Carp.

All general water rules apply plus the following:
1. Fishing from 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset only. If arriving early please show consideration for the farm residents.
2. Crayfish must be removed. All other fish must be returned to the water with the exception of Minnows for live bait.
3. All nets must be completely dried after fishing in order to stop the spread of Crayfish to other waters. It is advisable to use a different landing net for fishing the Wallington.
4. Members must leave immediately and without question if asked to do so by the farmer or farm residents.
5. Fly fishing permitted between June 16th and October 31st.
6. Only Minnows can be used as live bait, these may be caught and transported between sections but any left after the session must be returned to the river.
7. No fishing in front of the house.

A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed, but must be controlled and kept on a short lead at all times. Please be aware that cattle are present on the farm.
Closed season for coarse 15th March to 15th June inclusive. Fly-fishing for trout is permitted from 3rd April to 31st October.
