Please note that Brownwich Pond is now closed for the foreseeable future so the work can commence in preparation for the proposed desilting work that is planned.
Please do not try to book a swim to fish or visit the water. Updates will be posted in due course.
Great News! Tithe Top will be reopened today from 1300hrs. If you want to weigh and photo a fish, please make sure this is done quickly and they are returned back to the water as quickly as possible, this will eliminate any additional stress – as we all agree they have been going through the mill for a while. On a separate note, and I’m sure you will all support me with this – Thank you to the teams that have been looking after this, and all the other teams who tirelessly work on our waters to make sure the fishing for our members is the best it can be!
Lots of improvement has been seen at Tithe Top. If all goes well for the rest of this week there is a good chance it will reopen on Monday. Further notice will be posted either way.
Please be aware that CRF 1 and 4 will be closed this Sunday from 7am till 4pm for a club match.

Thank you to everyone that attended, it was a great turnout. Well done to all the Trophy winners, Below is a link to some pictures from the night and the AGM Booklet.
Hey All, Don’t forget that our AGM is tonight at Westbrooke Hall, PO7 8NU starting at 1915hrs. We hope to see you there.
We plan to desilt Brownwich pond over the winter period so there will be some periods where the water is closed or fishing is restricted. We will give notice whenever we can but it may not always be possible as we rely on the availability of volunteers. Please be patient when this work is taking place as it will extend the life of the fishery. Thank you.
We are still experiencing low dissolved oxygen levels in some of our waters but the recent weather has helped. The sunshine and some breeze seems to be having an effect. Abshot, Tithe Bottom and CRF have all seen better early morning readings. Its still been a difficult time checking levels and moving emergency aeration but hopefully its all been worth it. We will reopen the closed lakes as soon as we can although please don’t expect to get as many fish as you have in the past. Tithe top is taking a while to recover so we need to see more of an improvement before we can reopen. CRF 1 is now open and CRF 3 will reopen today at 1500hrs. Well done to all the teams involved in helping out on the waters over the past few weeks!
Due to low DO levels, CRF 1 is closed until further notice
