A big thank you to the team who have been working at Lakeside and we are very pleased with the current progress. We have completed the preparation for the Nicospan barriers to cut off the channel and we created a small channel in the rushes to the side of the causeway so we can install the nicospan without disturbing the causeway. We tidied all the reed and roots we removed. We will install the barriers at our next visit. We cleared all the bramble and scrub (not the small trees) from the complete length of the canal from the wooden bridge to the lake. We worked to get all the root out and level the bank.
