Lakeside will be reopening to fishing on Saturday 14th May. Unfortunately, the problems we have been experiencing since the start of the year have resulted in widespread fish kills and it is extremely unlikely that members will catch many (or any) fish. We would appreciate any members who do fish, letting us know how they get on either on the forum or by ringing  Steve, the FMO or Nev, the Pond Warden. There is no quick fix, but the club are currently planning a set of remedial actions which could reduce the impact of further algal problems. We expect to start a restocking program in the Autumn which will continue over several years. More information will be provided on the web site as soon as its available.
