A reminder that our first session is on Sunday 7th November. We’ll start at 9am and finish around 1pm although everyone is welcome to stay on.
We’ll be using Tates which is accessed via the main gate on the North Bank from Ferry Road. We’ll meet in the car park.
The focus of this first day will be float fishing deadbaits along with safe handling and unhooking techniques. Due to some generous donations to the club there will be rods to borrow if you don’t have a suitable set-up. Please see the Pike rules in the handbook for suitable tackle, we’ll also go through it on the day
Please bring bait if you can, would suggest one or more of Mackerel, spratts, Smelt or Herring. All of these work and can be obtained from fishmongers/supermarkets and tackle shops
