Soake Pond will re-open for bookings from 9am the 7th June.
During this closure for spawning, time has been taken to remove rigs/line from trees.
Sadly and more so very concerning there were 8 rigs removed and 6 of those rigs were fixed leads to lead core. This is completely unacceptable and therefore please be aware that with immediate effect there WILL be an increase in rig checks on anyone visiting Soake pond.
I hope for members understanding and cooperation with this matter in order to preserve fish safety which is paramount.
