A shoutout of thanks to our teams who look after and manage the waters. Pond Wardens, Bailiffs, Helpers, the Fisheries Team – all work behind the scenes to keep our waters looking the best they can. These people give up free time to assist and manage large tasks, small tasks, and general maintenance – a lot of which is unseen by members as its not advertised – however when you next attend a water you notice small changes and improvements. From where I sit, sat on the PC managing the PDAS media I hear and see of lots of things going on – and occasionally I get out and assist and see with my own eyes. I don’t think we all realise exactly what happens so this is just a thanks and well done to everyone who helps. As time allows, I will be out and about taking photos and speaking with the people who do the work and try to bring more updates so you can all see exactly what happens on our waters.
