All,

As an update to our processes, you now no longer need to wait to fish until you card arrives.

You can fish immediately but you MUST have the email confirmation (the initial email) with your details and membership number printed or a phone with it accessible to show a bailiff on the bank (With social distancing) – Without either of these, you cannot fish until your card arrives.

Please ensure you have proof of membership before angling, or you may be asked to leave the water.

PDAS Committee – 1st April 2021

Tight Lines!

Please be aware that Baffins will be closed for a Float Trophy Match 0700-1530hrs on Sunday 4th April 2021

Please be aware Tithe barn bottom & middle lakes will be closed on Wednesday 31st March . 07-00hrs till 18-00hrs. This is for fishery management reasons, apologies for any inconvenience.

Right, so since having posted the news about Night Fishing we have been contacted by the Angling Trust who have offered further advice. The initial advice we were given put doubt in our mind that we were maybe going to open ourselves and members up to problems, and therefore for safety we decided to stop night fishing. It seems this was a mistake and the wrong decision.

We are pleased to announce that following further conversations with the Angling Trust we are now confident that Night Fishing is allowed and will therefore be implemented.

We are sorry for the confusion, but please understand we were only acting on the info given, and to make sure the Club and the Members were safe and following rules. We may have been over cautious, but this is the responsibility we have.

So, from the 29^th March – Night Fishing is allowed. 24hrs max on all waters except for Sinah which is 48hr max stay. Please remember Soake and Brownwich are still closed. Please ensure you are following social distancing, stay safe and enjoy – we got there in the end.

Thank you for all your support.
