Firstly, well done to everyone who has signed up with the new online membership system. So far, it has gone really well with a few teething problems but nothing unexpected. For those people who have signed up with us and ordered a Handbook, please be aware that your Membership Card and Handbook will arrive separately, don’t panic – the card is on the way!

We are currently changing club locks from Key to Combination, the code is available from the Pond Wardens or Club Sec – details on website. When using the lock please ensure you put the correct code and then squeeze/pull slightly to unlock. All locks have been tested and are working fine once fitted.

Thanks to everyone who has tried the new online membership system, we have had lots of reports that the new cards have been recieved today. We hope you like the new design!

We are please to announce that our membership for the 2021/22 is now open. Please read before proceeding.

Online Membership – Online membership is the preferred joining method. Please ensure you create and account with your full name and email address. You will need to either take a photo or have one saved to the device you are using for your membership card. Payments are via debit or credit card. Online applications can take up to 2 weeks to be returned, you cannot fish until you receive a membership card.

Please ensure you have a suitable picture of yourself for your card on the device that you plan on using during the sign-up procedure. Our online Portal can be found on https://portsmouthdas.club/membership/

Please ensure you select the correct membership package. If you were a member last season, select RENEWAL, if you are new to the Club please select NEW MEMBER on the package.

The account you create on the new online portal is not the same as your Forum account. Please keep them separate.

Please remember, your new membership card may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. You cannot fish until it arrives.

Postal Membership – To apply via post, please download and print the application. Please ensure that it is completed fully and posted back along with payment. If you have paid via BACS please ensure you have sent the correct amount. Applications via post can take up to 3 weeks to be returned, you cannot fish until you receive a membership card. To receive your membership quicker, online membership is suggested.

This season, we have removed the 2 Rod Supplement. It is now included in the normal membership package. The 3 Rod Supplement is still available to purchase.

We will be opening the new memberships and renewals for the 2021/22 season on Monday 8th – 11am. Please check out the membership page and read the notes in preperation. This season there have been a few changes so please make sure you have read the notes!

As you all know Soake has been closed for a short period of time now to allow a major Project to take place. For the moment we won’t reveal to much detail, other than to say that this Project has been to save and strengthen the centre isle and in conjunction to this reduce the silt deposits leading to a safer and healthier fishery. Therefore we would like to share with you all, some pictures of just some of the work being undertaken to give you all some idea of the huge efforts being put in by those involved.
So for now this is a small taste of the works. There will more updates soon and more pictures along with video footage, but in the meantime we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst these works continue.

Please be aware that all lakes at Tithe barn will be closed for the week commencing Saturday 27th Feb & will re-open at 7am Monday 8th March 2021.

This is for fishery management to carry out improvements & essential work.

We will be undertaking various tasks including

Bottom lake :- refurb & improvement to aerator platform, swim improvement & a repair to the overflow sluice which requires us to lower the water level over the coming week.

Middle lake :- we will be laying a new & improved path along the north bank along with some swims improvement.

Top lake :- will be having a general tidy up.

Please be aware that we will be working on Tithe barn middle lake on Sunday 14th Feb 2021.

The north bank swims 9 – 16 will be closed during the day to allow us to remove the slab path.

A new path will be laid soon, so please take care on any uneven surfaces until the said path is laid.
