Brownwich will be open from 0800hrs Saturday 9th Jan 2021. Bookings for this water must be made via Mannings and open Friday. Fishing times are 0800hrs until 1600hrs only. A draw for swims may take place at 0800hrs each morning should it be required. Please remember to ensure Social Distancing rules are followed. Thank you.
It is with relief, that the Angling Trust have worked hard and can now confirm that Angling is allowed again. This comes with some conditions:
– This is a strictly limited resumption of LOCAL fishing and very different to how we have been allowed to operate since May.
– We are in a National Lockdown and this must be respected. The law requires a ‘reasonable excuse’ to leave your home or penalties will apply.
– The government has recognised that fishing can be seen as exercise, which is expressly permitted under the lockdown rules, although outdoor recreation is not.
– Organised sporting gatherings are prohibited so no match fishing.
– The exercise is limited to once a day so no overnight fishing whatsoever.
– To remain within the law you should follow the government’s guidance, and only fish locally within the district where you live. If you have no local fishing available then you will have to take your daily exercise in other ways.
Night fishing is not allowed, so please ensure you follow the guidance above. Further info can be found on the Angling Trust website.
Fishing allowed Sunrise to Sunset only.
No Day Tickets, Exchange Books or Guest Tickets are available.
Therefore, PDAS is pleased to announce our waters will reopen tomorrow (8th Jan 2021) at Sunrise, the only exception is Brownwich which will at reopen sunrise on Saturday 9th for booked members.
Members are required to follow the government rulings, all COVID safety rules and Social distancing must be strictly adhered to.
Please follow the rules and stay safe.

Ok, so the Temporary restrictions are changing daily, with the additional areas now moving into Tier 4 from Boxing Day 26th Dec @ 12:01am. On Boxing day, all our waters will be in to Tier 4, so as long as you are NOT coming from a lower Tier area or passing through a lower Tier area you can fish – as we have lots of members who are not in Hampshire etc. Please keep an eye on our Social Media for any further updates. In the meantime, we advise members to follow the guidelines set out by the Angling Trust. Stay Safe and follow the government rules.

Well, Christmas is nearly here and for a lot of us its changed and won’t be the same. The Club has faced many tricky situations this year, but with the support of ‘You’ the membership, we have nearly made it through. We would like to thank you all for your support and thank you all for sticking with the new rulings we have had to impliment throughout 2020. Who knows what 2021 will bring, but if we all stick together and follow the rules, I’m sure we will get through it.
Stay Safe, Wash Your Hands, Wear A Face Covering and Keep Your Distance!
Best Wishes, PDAS Committee.
