Sinah – 12th December 2021
The next Club Winter league match will be held at Sinah on Sunday 12 December 2021. The draw will be on North Bank Carpark at 08:30hrs fishing 10:00hrs to 15:00hrs. If you are fishing North Bank on Saturday 11th December 2021 can you please be off the complex by 07:00hrs Sunday 12th December 2021. Thank you for your support
Lakeside – 5th December
Please be aware that the Portsmouth Athletic Club are holding their 75th Victory 5 Mile Race at Lakeside on Sunday 5th December. They will require use of the access bridge to the lake from 11:00 to 12:30. Please keep any movements around the water at this time to a minimum. Thank you.
CRF Lakes 1-4 – 5th December 2021
CRF Lakes 1-4 will be closed on Sunday 5th December for a work party between 07:00 – 13:00hrs.
As we will be working on all four lakes and possibly using heavy machinery all four lakes will be closed.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
AGM – 24th November 2021 – 1900hrs
Due to our AGM not going ahead, we will be hosting it again on Wednesday 24th November @ 1900hrs.

Alver Gate – (Our One)
The entrance gate at Alver lake is broken (our gate not the council barrier). Access is still available on foot with care when opening the gate, but cars cannot get round the lake. You can still park outside the gate
Pike Tuition 2021/22 – Session 1: Sinah Sunday 7th November
A reminder that our first session is on Sunday 7th November. We’ll start at 9am and finish around 1pm although everyone is welcome to stay on.
We’ll be using Tates which is accessed via the main gate on the North Bank from Ferry Road. We’ll meet in the car park.
The focus of this first day will be float fishing deadbaits along with safe handling and unhooking techniques. Due to some generous donations to the club there will be rods to borrow if you don’t have a suitable set-up. Please see the Pike rules in the handbook for suitable tackle, we’ll also go through it on the day
Please bring bait if you can, would suggest one or more of Mackerel, spratts, Smelt or Herring. All of these work and can be obtained from fishmongers/supermarkets and tackle shops

The first match of the winter season will be at Lakeside draw at old Carpark at 08:30
All in 10:00hrs all out 15:00hrs.
